When we opened our first store, Serendipity Road in Downtown Midland, Michigan, we aimed to build a boutique that supported creativity, connection.
Since 2017, we've continued to bringing Michigan Makers into one space creating a gift boutique that supports small business and builds economic growth in Downtown Midland and throughout Michigan.
With continued desire to build the community on November 8th, 2019 they opened Joyful Tantrum a toy store unplugged so you can plug in with those you love.
With the need for some wiggle room in the toy store to meet the customer need in 2021(and planning for the future)they started the hunt for a larger space and on May 5th, 2022 they opened Joyful Tantrum Recess at 4000 Jefferson Ave in the old Glovers building.
It’s a joy to now to fill that space with gifts that are fun for all and create a space that will connect future youth with their community by creating memories of delight, wonder and curiosity.
